The Realtek Wifi Utility is not really necessary for a Wifi connection. Open Device Manager. Under the Network Category look for your Realtek Wifi. Select Properties. Here is the Realtek link. I believe it has both the driver and utility software included as the size is 50MB but I can't confirm it. I could not find the Utility Software by itself. In any case I would create a System Restore Point before installing. Having a network cable and wireless both running can confuse windows disable the cable the other thing is wireless can often connect via Windows until or makers they may use different ways so the utility may not show if Windows is in control New 27 Dec 2016 3 Thank you very much. What I wanted the wireless thing for was to connect my camcorder to the computer without having to pull out the computer and connect it via a cable. Easy when you know the answers eh
